The ESSENZA shorts have been thought out in every detail. Witnesses are the zigzag stitching present both in the union of the fabric with the pad and on the bottom of the leg. In these cases they have two different functions. While in the first it is purely aesthetic, in the case of the quadriceps this type of stitching was chosen thinking of the comfort of the cyclist: since there is no elastic, the fabric tightens less and marks the leg less. The zigzag stitching has inherent elasticity and allows the fabric to stretch and move without fear of the stitching breaking. In addition, the zigzag stitching performs a function of sealing the fabric so that the edges do not fray which results in a better quality finish.
X-Stra is a project by the Berenis company that combines the concept of Zero Friction design with the extra protection provided by the Rooted Gel Extended.
