Team Vini Zabù - Brado - KTM was again on the breakaway in the 11th stage of the Giro d'Italia from Porto Sant'Elpidio to Rimini.
For the fourth time Marco Frapporti was able to find himself a spot in the breakaway together with Francesco Romano, Fabio Mazzucco, Sander Armee and Mattia Bais.
Those five riders sprinted to the intermediate sprint won by Romano on Frapporti who achieved some important points in this special classification opening a gap of 10 points on the second classified rider, Mattia Bais.
After 150 kms in the head of the race Frapporti was caught by the peloton but he was satisfied of his perfromance at the end of the stage
"The last days I suffered a lot, today I felt better and I tried. We want to win a stage and we will try to take every chance".
Arnaud Demare won his 4th stage in this Giro at the sprint with Simone Bevilacqua as our top finisher.
Tomorrow stage 12 with start and finish in Cesenatico on the route of Nove Colli with many climbs and many chances for our riders
