STELVIO BIKE DAY 2019

A challenge. The fun. Being together. The myth. Climbing up to the Stelvio Pass is a sort of mission for cyclists and two-wheel lovers, something that at least once in a lifetime it is necessary to do and why not even more than one, even better when the roads are closed to traffic and you can pedal in absolute tranquility and joy.

The Stelvio Bike Day takes place along the Strada dello Stelvio, in the Stelvio National Park. Party, fun and challenge immersed in fabulous scenery for thousands.

The Stelvio Bike Day is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the long climb of the Pass, as motor vehicles will be off limits on all three sides of the mountain: the Lombard one from Bormio (SO), the Swiss one from the Val Monastero and on the 48 hairpin bends of the South Tyrolean slope that from Prato allo Stelvio climb up to 2758 meters of the pass.

It is a free event without registration, which allows you to travel along the Stelvio roads from the Lombard sides (from Bormio), Alto Adige (from Prato allo Stelvio) and Swiss (from Santa Maria) with a spirit that is certainly not that of the competition , but it is what aims to enjoy the incredible natural spectacle up to the Pass, breathing the atmosphere of legend, along a road that over the years has welcomed unforgettable challenges and epic moments of cycling.
